Can you believe it is July already? Your course operations are in full swing and we all know how much time and effort you put in. So, we have worked hard to deliver some “Christmas” gifts a little early this year. We’re not sure who coined the phrase “Christmas in July” but we are sure glad they did because Golf Software Santa is comin’ to town!
Show Me The Money: A New Cash Button
Since January 1st, 2018, the "Pay Now" button has been clicked 4.9 million times. Of those 4.9 million clicks, 3 million people clicked the "Cash" option. That’s more than 60% of the total clicks made!
With all that cash button clicking there was a great opportunity to save our users millions of clicks and tons of time.
Now, we didn’t just move a button and wrap it in shiny paper, there is more than meets the eye with an all new cash option!
Not only have we added a separate cash button right on the point of sale, we also added smart "Suggested Amounts".
This new feature will suggest likely cash amounts that your employee in the pro shop will receive from your golf customers. It might save so much time you’ll be able to kick back with Santa at the beach.
Let's Get It Together: Quick Group Filters
As we have mentioned before, we are constantly looking at our tool and working to optimize existing features. We have been observing and studying our new customers page and found that it took too long to sort your customers by their group.
We even conducted a “Stopwatch” test which allowed us to see that most of you were able to sort your customers by groups within 2 seconds on our old customers page but were pushing 11 seconds to filter on our new one. This contrast was just unacceptable for us, so we are adding an updated filter that will allow you to filter by group as quickly as you could before.
Now Hold On A Minute: Employee Permissions
We appreciate the Christmas lists that we have received from you because without those lists, we could not have delivered this next gift under your tree. The long months of development work are coming to fruition as we start to release an all new granular Employee Permissions feature.
Enjoy the ability to create custom “User Roles” that you can assign to different employees with different, specific, permissions.
This will allow you to control exactly what you’d like each of your employees to access such as:
- Limit access to move a reserved tee time
- Refund a sale
- View specific reports
- Edit a customer profile, create a gift card, and much more.
